Tectonic and parametric designs are the new generation of architecture. Patterns and textiles bring a new taste and a certain boldness to something simple. As an example by pleating a piece of paper we can bring a certain function or meaning to it that would add to the value of that piece of paper. That paper could become a support, a monument, a useful system, a flexible cover or etc.
The “Textile Continuity” building has an elegant design that wraps a diamond pattern system into it self like a Klein bottle and creates a closed loft that becomes our interior space.
The opening that is created in the centre allows light and air circulation through the building and also creates an elegant transparency through the interior spaces.
Our outdoor space is moved up to the third floor of the building which creates a beautiful view for people on this terrace and is covered by the fourth floor to protect from rain or direct sunlight. Moving the outdoor area to the third floor also helps with keeping it a more private area to the main occupants of the building and a safer space which could only be accessed after entering the building.
