Originated in Northern Italy, the Celtic knots were tied together by sailors to symbolize their connection to loved ones
while at sea. In this low-rise housing project we focused on connecting people and connecting program. This housing
project provides more than just a living space. We designed units that integrate money generating opportunities on the
lower floor of each unit. These opportunities are flexible space used as shops, offices, or rental units to help generate
income for the residents. The model not only promotes local businesses but also keeps and brings family members together.
